Palestinian Desert

Today we left Jordan and travelled into the Palestinian desert to celebrate the Eucharist in a very atmospheric service led by the Revd Susan Seed.

  1. Archdeacon Mark is right. It is in the desert – walking the narrow stoney path that we grow. An Oasis is nice and brings refreshment, but we follow the early heroes of the faith away from our comfort zone and we find the true meaning of the cross. What a privilege to carry a cross. God’s blessings to everyone
