The Church of the Resurrection and the Garden Tomb.

The Western churches call it the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, but the Eastern Orthodox churches call it (much more excitingly) the Church of the Resurrection. After being jostled by massive crowds in that impressive and ancient church, we came to the Garden Tomb, a quiet and reflective place to celebrate the Eucharist together, led by the Revd Carolyn Woodcock.

Here is my reflection, recorded this afternoon.

  1. An empty space. Praise God. Bless all the Pilgrims, both with Archdeacon Mark and those of us still here in Lancashire. Jesus is both Saviour and Lord.
